WELCOME FOR AN IMPORTANT CHOICE

This website aims to inform about my profession as well as the many  initiatives and associations  I have the pleasure to represent

It’s a constantly updated tool that talks about extraordinary relationships
and human sensitivity

My profession differs from all the others and I don’t hang up my coat in the evening to put it on again in the morning. What is true for my patients is also true for me in my daily life. Words can heal or hurt, they can cure or make ill as a result of our being. The thoughts that derive stem from our entire life, in every aspect. One can’t give another what one doesn’t have. The solution to a discomfort requires a choice that will determine an important change. Thus the professional addressed must have – and be - what is needed.

Zygmunt Bauman described the uncertainty of modern culture thorough the stunning definition “liquid world”. For many, a forced and unforeseeable alternative which requires giving up certainties for a fast evolution. What is liquid adapts its borders whilst maintaining its identity. Karl Popper comforted us by comparing life to a wonderful garden and at the same time made us responsible by assigning to each of us the role of gardener.

Plato is dear to me when he writes that souls are cured by certain spells
and these are beautiful words …

MY PROFESSION

Each one of us is genetically unique and has his/her own history, sensitivity, way of being, of living and of becoming ill. Thus for some a stressful event will have no consequence but for others will lead to illness. It’s not the objectivity of a fact which counts, but the subjectivity which can lead to trauma, unease and mental of physical pathology. A careful individual approach is necessary, in which the name prevails on the name of the diagnosis. Buchelard used to say that everyone is the name they bear. To heal it’s essential to identify with one’s name rather than with one’s illness. The name of the diagnosis isn’t useful, actually it’s the first matter to overcome when there is an identification with it.  What’s required is a careful exploration of the symptoms because they are the real representation of the problem.
A chosen and varied personal and professional training leads me to believe that a MOMENTARY DIFFICULTY must be faced in respect to a specific need. This requires  tools chosen for a given person in a specific moment. Just like a hunter knows which arrow to use on the basis of the wind, the distance, existing obstacles and the power of his arch.  His choice and aim will determine the result. Afterwards, it will be like rafting together down a river avoiding rocks and waterfalls: I will manage the steering and we’ll overcome difficulties together in order to reach the goal.
The doors of life aren’t opened with effort and force but by rebuilding a lost key Surgeons use scalpels to save lives after having carefully examined available options. Not much time is necessary, the past matters only to understand the future. There’s no point in spending lots of time on that past or on justifying oneself with others’ incompetence. The time must be spent to find the solution. Taking responsibility improves people, blaming anchors to the past and leads to sanctions that always imply pain and unhappiness. A therapeutic process that leads to non judgemental conclusions is necessary. As Albert Einstein said We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Healing stem from here, first the mind and subsequently the body. In the waiting room of my practice there is a sentence by William James, an American psychologist of the early 18th century: “The greatest discovery of our generation is that a human can alter his life by altering his attitudes.” My role is to accompany in looking at things with new eyes – as Proust said – and this makes it possible to change mental attitudes.

I’m used to thinking that whoever enters my practice has a problem and, when they leave we have a problem... and we’ll solve it together.

Words are like seeds that sprout a new condition.

TAKING CARE TO OFFER CARE

In welcoming you before we meet, I’d like to briefly show you my organization and illustrate how, by taking care of every detail and leaving nothing to chance - we aim to best serve whoever enters the practice.

Welcoming those who’ve given me their trust is a pleasure and an honour for me. My choices and professional approach lead me to believe that somebody who is unwell should be put in the condition to return to wellbeing as quickly as possible. This WILL NOT REQUIRE A LONG AND DIFFICULT PROCESS, with years of therapy and you may be surprised to hear that it may well be pleasurable.
I’ve foreseen a QUALITY PROGRAMME based on an ATTENTIVE WELCOMING SERVICE, DIAGNOSIS WITH STANDARDISED INTERNATIONAL TESTS, TRANSPARENCY AND DEFINITION OF THE PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP and, above all, RESULT MEASUREMENT.

The many people that I’ve taken care of in these 25 years might have referred you to me thinking this may well be the right place to solve your problem.

The best therapy is the one which obtains the best results, TOGETHER WE WILL REACH THOSE RESULTS.

Thank you for your attention

HOW HYPNOSIS WORKS

Hypnosis is a specific state of consciousness in which the natural analytical faculties are sufficiently reduced to allow the use of deeper levels of the unconscious for the individual’s wellbeing.

It’s an EXTRAORDINARY MEDICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TOOL increasingly widely used. Every human being having normal psychic activity can access it and the use of this technique for therapeutic purposes is totally free from side effects of any sort. CLINICAL HYPNOSIS doesn’t involve any loss of consciousness or memory and can never act in opposition to the values and models of the person.

The state of consciousness changes from that of alertness to an apparent sleep through an imaginative phase, moving from a light trance into a deeper one. There are no distinct boundaries between these levels. The subject always experiences a pleasant state of calm and relaxation, is aware of what is happening and will remember all that happened when back in the ordinary state.  Hypnosis occurs thanks to maintaining a single idea that becomes a physical and psychic condition during the experience and in a subsequent time lapse out of trance. It’s a totally natural psychosomatic phenomenon.

WHAT HYPNOSIS IS FOR

Particularly effective for problems deriving from emotional states and habits considered inadequate, it values individual skills, stimulates the immune system and acts measurably in physical therapies.

Medical uses: it relieves or eliminates every kind of pain to the point that in many cases it can actually be a natural alternative to analgesia. Greatly effective in sexual therapies. It intervenes specifically in any form of organic pathology by stimulating the immune system and by acting psychosomatically where needed.

Psychological uses: it eliminates anxiety and depression, phobias and compulsive behaviours. It wins nicotine, alcohol or drug addiction in presence of a real motivation. Hypnotic suggestion induces positive feelings, regulates food disorders and is really significant in post traumatic stress disorders. It always resolves harmonization and self esteem processes.

Creative uses: can be used in sports and the creative arts. It improves athletic performance by encouraging greater concentration, increasing muscular resistance and allowing peak performances to occur. It releases latent potentials, stimulates creativity and increases recollection of memories.

HYPNOSIS IN MY PRACTICE

After many years of experience in using this extraordinary tool I’m the first to be excited every day by its important results. This enthusiasm motivates me further to study and research and gives energy and new life to those experiencing it. Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon in our daily life, even though we don’t notice it. It’s a psychosomatic phenomenon that deeply and authentically changes our condition towards our needs and wishes. Our mind is directly or passively responsible for our problematic issues. What creates the necessary grounds for our healing process is the possibility to understand the reasons and stop the cause-effect relations. When appropriately guided the mind knows how to orient itself, take care of the body and cure it where needed. It knows how to do this on the basis of the competence used to become ill, it can remedy what was once created.

In my use of hypnosis it’s a special state of being in which memory of the experience remains. It isn’t conditioning of the mind but the removal of the obstacles between illness and healing. It stimulates the immune system, annuls pain and each session is a concrete and measurable step forwards towards wellbeing. And the results are stable and irreversible. Many battles are hard and complex, yet there seem to be no insurmountable limits for the mind’s ability to act upon itself. My voice  accompanies and teaches the mind what it already knows how to do. Words are like seeds that lead to a new condition. From the first session patients are supported by tests that measure results, by a protocol purposefully designed for each person and by 42 measurement parameters tailored specifically. Subsequently the clinical tests will confirm the results reached. But the most important thing is that for all this to happen it isn’t necessary to believe in it. I don’t believe in hypnosis, but I believe in its results every day.

.

We must be patient and wait for new methods and new research possibilities.
However, we must also be willing to let go of the route we’ve followed for a long time
if we realise it doesn’t pursue our goals.

Only those believers who demand  science to become a surrogate of catechism can blame researchers
for perfecting or even modifying their beliefs.

Given that scientific knowledge proceeds slowly, there where we cannot fly to we can reach by limping...
and limping, according to the Scriptures, isn’t a sin.
